WOOHOO! 50 Degrees and Mostly Sunny!

So it was a nice day today but I was in a funk and really didn't feel like leaving the house. So I just opened the door to the deck and let the boys go out and play, they were in seventh heaven with that. Why do I even take them to the park? I could just let them play on the deck all the time. P.J was spying on people and Henry was crying because the dog next door was barking at us. Funny kids!

More Happy Eastering!

Cute boys in there Easter Sunday Best!

Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny hid P.J.'s basket in the pirate ship, it was so funny when he found it, like it was a real treasure.
Henry's was hidden in the fireplace and he just happens to be afraid of it, the Easter Bunny didn't know that, so he wouldn't get his basket out. Big brother came to thje rescue and got it out for him.
They both ended up getting baseball gloves and balls.
P.J. said he got a baseball glove and a baseball ball, Daddy corrected him as quickly as he said it.

Dyeing Easter Eggs

We had a fun time dyeing eggs today, I was even able to title one egg as "P.J. Stinky Feet", he didn't think it was too funny. It was great that both boys were able to do it themselves for the most part, as you can see, they thought it was great.

Elephant Man

P.J. made this cute elephant mask thing in school this week and I just had to show it off. In the lower picture he is making an elephant noise, if you couldn't tell.

Easter Egg Hunt

For our playgroup this week we had a Easter egg hunt at Becky Coils house. Now since we live in New England, and it isn't spring time here like it is almost everywhere else, we had to have the hunt in the house. The kids were still very excited about it. Each kid brought ten eggs filled with candy, therefore, they all found ten eggs in return. The kids were the best behaved they have ever been at a playgroup before, us moms decided that we should have a Easter egg hunt every week.

Henry and Boston

Henry and Boston are about 3 or so months apart and they play so cute together. While babysitting Boston the two monkeys ran from the sliding door to the kitchen and back just racing each other, it was very fun to watch.

Do I need to say anything?

He is not modeling, he is pretending he has a light saber and his hand just happened to be there.

P.J. keeps running around the house singing "Geek Squad!" OK so I will explain, Aunt Michelle sent us these geek squad t-shirts and P.J. thinks they are so cool. He asks to wear it whenever he is sleeping. Tonight he found this mask that Pete uses when he plays paintball and he was pretending to be Darth Vader. Now he has never even seen that movie but his cousin Tonio is a Star Wars enthusiast so he thinks he knows all about it. Of course Henry had to join in on the fun, so brother helped him get into the mask.

Lunch Time

P.J. is really such a good boy most of the time. While I was getting lunch ready and Henry was running around crying like his world had just come to an end I went looking for P.J. He was in his room, on his laptop "writing music". I love his crossed legs, he gets it from his Dad but it reminds me of my Grandpa Bennett. After Henry finally calmed down he was anxiously waiting at the table for his macaroni and cheese.

Happy St. Pat's Day!

P.J. thinks it's always St. Patrick's Day, he wears these socks to bed alomost every night. Don't worry folks, he has two pair so he's not wearing dirty socks all the time. Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Snack Step

We had a playgroup over here last week and when most of the crowd had cleared the kids wanted a snack. I just happened to have chocolate chip cookies on hand and they were more than happy to accept. The rule in our house is you either have to sit at the table when you eat a snack or you have to sit at the snack step, they all thought it was quite the fun game.

Batman?

P.J. asked me to help him make a batman mask and this is as good as I could come up with, he loved it and of course he had to help so I let him color it and help me cut it out. What can I say, he loves to pretend.

This is what happens every night at our house!

These crazy boys get out of the tub every night and run around the house like wild animals, they act like it is the funnest thing ever.

Cruella De Vil

P.J.'s new favorite song. Although different from the version we are used to he still loves it!

Funny little boys!

I gave the boys haircuts today and I wanted to take pictures of them because someone complained about no pictures on my last post (mom). So I start taking pictures and P.J. is very cooperative and cute as usual and then I saw the jammies he had picked out, this is how you compromise when your kid wants to wear summer jams in the dead of winter.
Pirate Pete-
Then I tried to take a picture of both of them together and well, you can see how that went.

Then as I was trying to get one of just Henry all he could do is jump off his bike and yell "To Infinite and Beyond", in Henry lingo of course. He was cracking me up as always.

I hope this was good enough for you Mom. We love you!

Sad Day:(

I think I speak for everyone in the house when I say that it sucks that Dad has to start school again today.

Day 6 of Break!

German pancakes for lunch? When it's snowing outside you can have anything for lunch. I have a bunch of pigs in my house, I'm sure you all knew this about Pete but the little boys too. Henry had two helpings and P.J. had three, between the four of us this is all that was left over.
Yes that snow pile is taller than Pete, can winter be over yet? The boys had some fun playing in the snow. P.J. wanted to help shovel so we got out the beach toys, I'm sure that was a lot of help.
