Henry LOVES Rock Band!

Henry is completely obsessed with playing Rock Band. Every time he sees either me or Pete going to the closet where we keep the guitars and drums he runs around saying, "I play Rock Band, I play Rock Band". He then proceeds to go get his Elmo guitar or as shown in this picture a tambourine used as the drums and "plays Rock Band". This kid cracks me up.

Tubby Time

The boys favorite thing to do in the tub lately is lay down and float on their backs. I think it is so cute that they will cram in there side by side just to float. I also love Henry's floating hair.

We have a heartbeat!

So I thought I should officially let everyone know that we are expecting baby #3. I had my first doctors appointment yesterday and everything was in tip top shape. I am 10 weeks and 4 days and already HUGE. It must be the third baby syndrome.

Father and Son Yoga

This morning the boys decided they wanted to do yoga. I would have joined in but I already took a shower and anyway that's my excuse. Enjoy the yoga poses and maybe it will inspire you to do some yoga.

Little Miss Muffet

Today was "Little Miss Muffet" day and they made these spider hats. P.J. loves his new school and is already learning so much. Isn't he just too cute?

This is what happens........

when you give a Hen apple sauce unsupervised.
You can't really tell in this picture but he had it all over his shirt, pants, hands and hair. Needless to say he was quickly put in the bath tub.

Goin' back to Cali

Well, it's official! Pete sent in his acceptance letter to Perkins Coie on Friday. We are so proud of him for all of the hard work he has done to get to this point. Now his actual job this summer wasn't such hard work, a lot of eating out, going to baseball games, river rafting and retreating to Seattle, but school leading up to that and making sure he was getting good grades and such was quite a lot of work. I must say that I am sorry to all of you who hoped we'd be coming back to Utah (Tara), but it's the right move for our family right now. Wish us luck!

p.s. we won't be moving there until next fall

4th Day of School!

I know, I know, I was supposed to take this picture on his first day but I have been a little distracted. Besides, P.J.'s outfit was way cuter today than any of the other days he went to school.
Sporting his "Speed Racer" backpack.
Since the boys matched Henry thought he needed to jump in on the picture taking.

Labor Day Campout

Pete w/ Zack, Abby and P.J.
This Labor Day weekend all of us 3rd year law students went camping for a last hoorah before we all start taking off in December. It turned out to be a blast, there was a lot of relaxing and even more eating. Now that's what I call camping.
Henry was hanging out like this for a while and I thought it was funny so I took some pictures. A little later I found out that he was trying to poop. Kids are so weird.

Day at the Beach

While my Mom and Chris were in town we were all able to go out to Hampton beach with all of our friends. The boys had tons of fun, I'm not too sure why I didn't get any pictures of P.J. though.

Splash Pad

P.J. and Jasmine
( just a side note Jasmine is 4 or 5 months younger than P.J., yet about a head taller)

P.J. getting dumped on while Jazzy stands by.

We had a play date with some of the cousins, Quinn, Jazzy and Tyler, at the splash pad in South Ogden. As you can see the kids loved it. It took Henry a little while to get brave enough to actually get in the water but once he did he didn't want to get out.

Last Day at Rage

We were lucky enough to get season passes to Raging Waters this summer and oh what a "Rage" it was. We went at least once a week and the kids, and adults, loved every bit of it.
Henry loves his fashion.

Super Boys!

While we stayed the last week of our Utah trip at Grandma Chris and Grandpa Mikes house we had a lot of fun. We had a camp out in the backyard and the next day Chris pulled these masks out for the kids to make. She always has some sort of fun thing for the kids to do. They each made there own, with a little help. P.J.'s says PJinator and Henry's says The Hen. They had so much fun.

Getting ready for Halloween?

When it comes to Halloween you could say that my Mom is a little obsessed. She has this great Halloween village that all the kids love and since we won't be there for Halloween she set it all up before we left in August. Unfortunately I don't' have any pictures of the actual village but I do have these prep pictures. The first time P.J. ever used spray paint, oh what fun.

Purple Jammies

While we were in Utah, one night we were scrap booking so my Dad took the boys to Oby's for a little while. P.J. being the pee pant boy that he is peed his pants and had to put on a pair of Chloe's jammie shorts. They just happened to be purple and I could not resist taking a picture, I know I'm mean P.J. tells me that all the time.
