Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!

This year we couldn't do our tradition of setting up the Christmas Tree on the day after Thanksgiving because we are moving to Utah in two weeks and there would be no point in putting it up. I was very sad when I woke up on Friday morning and P.J. kept asking me when we were going to put up our Christmas decorations so I figured we could improvise. This is what we came up with:

Packing Paper
Tape
Markers
Crayons
Stickers
=
The Best Paper Christmas Tree Ever!
Fully equiped with presents for everyone, even little Cisco!

Post Feast, Thanksgiving Night

The boys on their annual Thanksgiving Pajamas thanks to Grandma Chris.
They are such snuggle bugs. We decided to bust out the Christmas movies since Pete's rule is not until Thanksgiving Day. Henry chose to watch Rudolf the Red nose Reindeer.

Apparently Rudolf is very intense.

P.J. was leaning his head on me and told Henry, "you can lay on brother." They really do love each other.
We hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving!

Potty Training

Some of you know that Henry has been potty training and he is doing pretty well, besides the occasional accident and the poop issue he does good. This morning we woke up to find that Henry has been potty training his Jack Bear, the wipes are the toilet, he pulls his pants down and there you have it. Henry is growing up too fast, he does goofy stuff like this all the time.

And he said he wasn't tired....

Henry refused to take a nap yesterday because he wasn't tired. I needed to get stuff done so I turned on cartoons and the space heater and left the room, this is what I came back to find. Sleepy little Henry warming up by his favorite thing, the space heater.

Happy Anniversary to us!

(remember to pause my music before starting the video)

So our anniversary was on Tuesday and Pete was so busy with school that all we were able to do was eat dinner together with some good old sparkling cider. It has been a great seven years and I don't think I could be happier, Pete I love you to infinity and beyond most.

Peanut Butter Man?

Henry trying to smile through a mouth full of milk.
P.J. is such a ham.

Today for lunch P.J. wanted to try this idea for peanut butter men, he saw the idea on the box of banana flavored teddy grahams. I think they turned out pretty cute, they were however a little messy for the kids to eat.

Tee Pee Picnic

Today for lunch we decided it would be fun to have a picnic in the tee pee, so we set it up in the kitchen, put the little table in, add spaghettios and hot dogs and there you have it. The boys thought it was really cool, I was the server(what's new), and they kept saying "thank you madam Moselle." So much fun for a rainy Saturday.

PETER

At school P.J. has shown an interest in writing his full name, so that is what he does, on everything he can. Both the boys love to help me pack then P.J. just has to write his "full name" on all the boxes, I think he does a pretty good job. I just had to throw that crazy picture of him in here since it is a post about him.

Crazy Bed Head

Henry has the best bed head every morning and since I've been told I need to post more pictures I thought I would share it with you all. It really helps that he is so cute too.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Concord tradition, trick or treating on Main Street.
All week long Henry has been practicing saying, "trick or treat, thank you, happy Halloween!" His practice proved to pay off, he got a ton of candy.........

and a chocolate covered strawberry.

Giant Pumpkin, beat that Charlie Brown. This was the first year that Pete has ever been trick or treating with either of the kids, I think they all enjoyed it.

We all got together for pictures before taking off for trick or treating, those three boys on the top row look so excited to go.

As you can see, there were a ton of kids. To our surprise they all were pretty good taking this picture, much better than the two previous years.

Vampire P.J. posing it up.

A big scary dragon.
(I love recycled costumes)

Again looking oh so excited about this whole thing.
We ended our trick or treating and headed home for a Bennett family tradition of homemade chili, it was so good, if I do say so myself.
We were lucky enough to end the night off with some homemade donuts and witches brew, thanks Miranda and Dave.
