Sock Fuzzies

As some of you know P.J. is a little OCD about some things. His latest thing is sock fuzzies, he is always picking them out of his toes, Henry's toes and Pete's toes. I know, he is a weird kid. Tonight while he was washing in the tub he started sticking his soapy fingers in between each toe to "wash out the sock fuzzies", this kid need a new hobby.

And a pinch to grow an inch!

I know that this isn't the most flattering picture of Peter but it's all we got.
Pete's birthday was on Wed. the 22nd, since he was in class all day until 8:00 there was no way to do a birthday dinner for him so we did it on Sunday. At his request we had a yellow cake with chocolate frosting and an apple pie. (Who is this guys wife? He is a lucky man.) ;) It was a lovely dinner and an even more lovely dessert. Happy Birthday Pete!

Alone time with Mom!

Yesterday afternoon P.J went golfing with Daddy and some of the guys so, Henry and I had some alone time. Our friend Melanie called and told us about this Halloween party hosted by the Concord Moms Group so we thought we would check it out.
Henry loved being the only child, even if it was just for and hour. He loved that I had all my attention on him and pushing him in this swing.

Cute Gretta and Henry walking around holding hands. This little girl just loves my boys and all the craziness that comes with them, so it is always a good time when we get together.

On our way home I asked Henry if he had fun at the party and his response was, "Not yours party, not P.J.'s party, my party." We will have to start doing some special one on one time with each of the boys, especially before this baby comes.

Putting on my own shoes!

This morning I was having a conversation with P.J. about what shoes he could wear to the park, as I was telling him that he could not wear his crocks to the park and he had to wear his hiking boots or tennis shoes Henry ran in, got his rain boots and put them on himself. I must underestimate my children because I thought Henry had no idea how to put his own shoes on, they were on the wrong feet, but hey you got to start somewhere.
He was SO proud of himself!

Phil Taylor?

I was trying to see how easy it will be to comb P.J.'s hair back for Halloween, he is being a vampire. Anyway, While trying to comb it back I realized that my 5 year old son has a Brillo pad for hair just like his loving Grandpa Phil and his Nana. We will be using a lot of gel on Halloween night.
Of course Henry wanted to be a Baby Grandpa Phil, so we combed his hair back too.

Fall in New Hampshire

I got out a little late to get the peek of the colors but I still got some pretty cool shots.

Apple Picking

P.J. didn't want to pick the apples himself that day , which I found odd, but we had plenty of help from our friends the LaClairs.
When I was about to take this picture P.J. said, "do you want us to say apples?"
That kid cracks me up.
Trying to bite into this giant apple. He was able to do it eventually.

Fall day at the Park

The best part about fall in New England is that you never have to go too far to get the beautiful views.

Henry's Stats

This crazy kid finally had his two year check up, just about 6 months late is all. I thought I would let everyone know how he is growing.
27 lbs.
351/2 in. tall
He is coming in at the 5oth percentile which is good since he has never been above the 25th, except for when he was 7 months and so fat.
We are also having a speech therapist come in to our house and evaluate his speech to see if he possibly needs a hearing test or some speech therapy.
